As far as celebrity friendships go, it’s tough to beat the adorable duo of actress Jamie-Lynn Sigler and singer Lance Bass.
The two have been close ever since meeting at a 9/11 charity event, Sigler tells “Oprah: Where Are They Now ― Extra.” From there, she and Bass became practically inseparable ― they even officiated each other’s weddings. (Sigler married baseball player Cutter Dykstra in January of this year, and Bass married artist and actor Michael Turchin in December 2014.)
“I officiated his wedding, so he then officiated mine ― but I actually asked him first,” Sigler says smiling. “He’s been through every relationship with me, so I thought, ‘Who better?’”
For Sigler, Bass is more than a friend; he’s practically family.
“He is one of the most important people in my life. I love him so much, as does my husband,” she says. “He knows me so well.”
Serving as officiants for each other, Sigler adds, solidified a bond that won’t be broken.
“We got to marry each other,” she says, smiling. “It’s a pretty cool thing to have.”
